  31. You don't have to sell me on the PAR, I have one for the Amiga. This is a
  32. great card in some ways but for others the loss of quality is not
  33. acceptable. The PAR's framebuffer only outputs the image after it is
  34. compressed, unless the PC PAR is different than the Amigas. So if you want to
  35. single frame to tape, we will have to look at a 24bit display device with
  36. some kind of video out, composit or component whatever the need is. Also if
  37. you want to see your image rendered to the buffer while you are tweaking the
  38. animation I would think that the PAR would have to be loaded at the same
  39. time, which meens that it would be using system RAM and it would be running
  40. in the background. I think but I am not sure that most of the video
  41. display devices for the PC have RAM built onto them and use very litle of
  42. system RAM. I guess like everything else you buy what you need to get the
  43. job done.
